Healthy Banana Chia Smoothie Recipe

This healthy banana chia smoothie is definitely one of our favourites, and quite possibly the best one we’ve ever tried. It is super simple to throw together for a busy morning breakfast on the run and can be poured into our 140ml pouches to enjoy later in the day as well.

Not only that, but this delicious smoothie is wonderful for children also. Everyone loves a banana milkshake, and this smoothie recipe delivers all the flavours of a banana milkshake with none of the guilt.

Here is what you’ll need to make this healthy family day-starter:

One banana, some rolled oats, honey, chia seeds, ground cinnamon, yoghurt and milk. Easy!

Pop all of your ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker and blitz for 90 seconds until smooth and creamy. Then simply enjoy straight away, or pour into our reusable pouches to enjoy later while on the go.

Ingredients

1 medium banana
2 tbsp rolled oats
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp honey
3/4 cup light milk

Method

Place all ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker and blitz for 90 seconds. Enjoy!
